Fibre broadband (FTTC)
Fibre Broadband, also known as Superfast broadband and BT
Fiber to the Cabinet (FTTC) uses the latest in fibre optic

Hosted telephony provides a fully managed,

Trunking
A Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) connection is a VoIP
service that connects your IP telephone system to the public
switched telephone network (PSTN) via the Internet, using
a broadband or Ethernet connection.
How does it work?
• Simply take an IP connection from your NTE – or
utilise an existing connection if you have one
• Take a SIP trunk, specifying the number of concurrent
calls (trunks) you require
• Connect your equipment directly or via an additional
media gateway

Ethernet first mile
Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) delivers flexible data connectivity
over a choice of 2 copper pairs (up to 10Mbps) or 4 pairs
(up to 20Mbps), with a minimum symmetrical speed guarantee
of 2Mbps.
EFM over copper pairs bridges an important gap between business
grade broadband and higher speed, high bandwidth products.
Choose from up to 10Mbps over 2 copper pairs or 20Mpbs on
4 copper pairs, with a minimum symmetrical speed guarantee
of 2Mbps.
Failsafe capability
EFM is highly resilient and suitable for business critical
applications. That's because if one pair fails, the second,
third or fourth pairs provide a failsafe capability.
